3183Y - suitable to be slung from a catenary?

I would like to run a temporary supply (2 -3 years) to a large shed for lighting and a socket. The span for the catenary is 15m. I happen to have a drum of 3183Y (HO5 VV-F) 2.5mm white, don't remember where from and I can't foresee a use for so could/should I utilise this (apart from the aesthetics of a white cable up in the air)?

I've read that 3183Y isn't suitable for outdoors but will it degrade in 2 - 3 years?

This is my own gaff, not a paying customer!

    temporary supply (2 -3 years)

Is that the kind of temporary that could turn into 20-30 years before you know it?

Someone once said that unless you have a specific reliable end date, it's not really temporary by the original definition of the word (for a definite length of time - the reverse of permanent - for an indefinite length of time).

reminds me of my college lecturer who used to say ‘there‘s nothing more permanent than a temporary job’
