Load groups for rota power cuts.

Can anyone recommend any website from which a customers load group may be determined from the postcode, or by viewing a map.

Determining ones OWN load group is easy, it is generally found on the electricity bill.

Finding out the load group of customers, suppliers, and local amenities would be helpful.

IIRC, I asked this on the old forum, and a respected member posted a link that was very helpful at the time but stopped working after a few months.

  • There is also this on the SP website…

You can also find out your block letter by visiting the Energy Emergencies Executive website www.energyemergencies.gov.uk, or by ringing 08000 12 12 33. You will need your Post Code, and then just follow the prompts carefully. Alternatively, you can text your Post Code to 86633.

The website doesn't work and I suspect that the SP website just links to it.  You could contact them and ask them to restore the website or use the text service.
