Experienced Worker

I have posted on this before. I am a tutor/assessor on the City and Guilds 2346 NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Experienced Worker Qualification. There are quite a few excellent sparks out there who do not have the appropriate qualifications to get their ECS electricians gold card. I have arrived at a time in my life when I can offer assistance in leading the guys through the machinations of this qualification.
The qualification has been put together by the doyens of our industry. I would like opinion on the candidate logbook but particularly the performance criteria.

I am not 100% sure how private messaging works on the new forum but if you would be interested in having a look at the document perhaps you would PM me and I will send to you.

  • I've message you a few times about this, but never received a reply.

    Yes,I  would like more info.

  • Alan,

    sent. Can you confirm receipt?

  • Yes, received thanks, not had a chance to look yet as I've been so busy. Will, possibly, get a few minutes this evening.

  • HI Lyle

I, too, would like to know about this. It might surprise some, but I'm currently doing this qualification as I really would like the project managers black JIB card; it'd be useful on some of the sites we're operating on.

Hi Lyle, is there a reason you can’t just post a link so we can all have a look at our own leisure and comment freely in the old fashioned way, to save you the time of having to send it out manually by email?

  • Well it is a password protected item on the CandG website so I really only want to make it available to parties on this site who express a specific interest. It’s hardly a state secret but as an assessor I feel I should exercise appropriate caution.

  • I'd be interested to take a look and provide some comments.

    Thanks

    Jason

Thanks for the reply Lyle, if I send you a throw away email address is that ok?

How about you post a few screenshots of any bits you would like some opinion on for reasonable use educational purposes etc ?

I believe you posted something fairly recently on the previous platform, but the new ’search’ facility if the worst ever!
