O-PEN Devices... will there be a standard?

Hi ,

I am looking to find out if there is a standard being worked on for O-PEN devices that provide safety protection for single phase EVSE connected to a TN-C-S system?

I am fully aware of the information on this subject within the amendment to 7671 and the IET code of practice for EVSE installations, but wondered if a specific BS document was being drafted up. and if so, what the possible launch date was and how I could get hold of any provisional documents.

    The place to ask is the BSI

    suggests that apart from defining the existence of a committee, it has not got off the starting blocks yet, however to be sure about that I have just Emailed the secretary of that committee to ask how it is going.  I'll  come back here as and when  I get any response. (As indeed  anyone with a BSI logon can contact them, the process to get a logon is the same as you need to comment on new drafts etc.)
