Do current limiting MCBs differ from Type B, Type C MCBs?
yes - sort of almost like the funnily passed ones that caught fire or flew apart were quickly removed from the test sample ;-) Maybe translationese of course , but the fact they are not a common sight suggests achieving a solid pass when it gets that small is tricky.
Pity as they would make for very compact control boxes.
The same company makes modules to turn a standard trip into one you can reset remotely - like a shunt trip coil but with both pull and push directions so you can trip your MCBs on or off, either by pulses of external 24V or from a remote control module - perhaps a solution to the inaccessible CU problem. Another idea I do not really like the sound of. Allows you to be electrocuted while working on the system by someone with a radio control...
