CONSIDERING IET MEMBERSHIP OR YOU ARE ALREADY A MEMBER

Once again I need you help please?

If you have not thought about being a member, or you are thing about being a member of the IET or you are an existing member of the IET what benefits would you want from the IET? Is what is on offer at the moment meeting your needs or not attractive to you.

I wear a number of IET hats and in one role I am looking at improving membership from the installation industry which is not that good in comparison to the size of the industry.

The IET do a lot of good stuff but I am convinced that it is not widely known about. For example this forum is funded and supported as part of the IETs charitable commitment. Also the free webinars we have been doing (Next one on the 5th April).

So rather than me saying I know "whats good for you" I want to hear your views?

    I am sorry to hear that the IET let you down. Email me on info(the symbol for at)astutetechnicalservices.co.uk and let me know what the problem was and I will see if I can fix it for you.

    Thanks for the offer of help John. I have written to the I.E.T. and am awaiting a reply after Easter. Let's see what happens.

    Thank you for your comments Zoomup and I am sorry to hear that your requests for a new membership certificate have not been actioned.  I will contact you directly to resolve this matter for you.

    We are able to offer both printed and PDF copies of your membership certificate – please can you let me know if you have a preference or if you would like both versions? 

    Please can you also confirm the email address and/or home address you would like to be used for the replacement certificates - if you do not wish to supply this information via the forum please send an email to postmaster@theiet.org and I will pick it up from there.

    I prefer a paper copy please as I have received before. My address is the one that you send my I.E.T. publications to.  My address has not changed. I have no working printer at present. If I write to the I.E.T on paper I expect a paper reply. Membership number 1100345625. My I.E.T. membership application renewal reminder was after all sent by the I.E.T. to me by Royal Mail in paper form.
