Contractors will find it useful for issue to clients to specify what they are going to do and what they are not going to do. It also meets the requirement for agreeing with the client the Extent and Limitations before work commences on site. It also may deter the client from using a Drive By Cowboy instead of a competent, diligent and professional contractor.
It is also useful for clients to specify what they want done before engaging a contractor.
