Thank you for your response, however I am an electrician and am aware of Bathroom Zones. To be specific I would generally be using LED strip in Zone 2. My understanding is that electrical separation by double wound transformer is required and that separation by electronic means is no longer allowable, hence my request for guidance on a suitable product.

Hello Chris, the original post referred to downlights, that is why I posed the question. Most ceilings in bathrooms are higher than 2.25 metres so there is no problem.  Section 701 deals with locations containing a bath or shower. Most modern rooms have a ceiling that is out of the zones. That was the reason for my question. Surely a small double wound isolating transformer is not too expensive to ensure safety. I would not trust the Chinese made electronic power supplies that power an L.E.D. strip to be safe in a bathroom, or shower room, where the lights are touchable.

There is just so much that can got horribly wrong inside an electronic power supply that may cause the input supply Voltage to appear on the output terminals.
