Graham, I think the "Do Not Remove" part on any label should be omitted because it seem as if, by convention, it is an instruction to plumbing types to remove the connection
Or is taken too literally in defiance of common sense ... I've seen where a plumber had replaced a gas pipe that had a clamp on it - but instead of removing the clamp from the old pipe and refitting it to the new, simply left 6" of the old pipe, complete with clamp, handing by the 10mm² G/Y....
