Bluetooth Arc Fault Detection Devices.

Just had a look at the brochure for the new Hager AFDD with a visual status display and Bluetooth to allow interaction with a mobile phone for interrogation and software updates. 

Rather different to a piece of fuse wire.

  • What I can’t figure is why so much R and D is being directed at a product that is required for a very limited number of installations, lest, of course, Amendment 3 will mandate for wider application!
