Building regs

Anybody tell me how up to date the 6th edition of the building regs guide is please?
Does it contain the latest information on Part S?
I see a guide on Part S is priced @ £82.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Just ridiculous that would have been 4 months wages when I first started work................................

Thanks Andy............yeah I've got that as part of the merged approved documents download....all about 1500 pages of it.
You really have to sit down and concentrate to read Part S......... and a minimum 7kW charger!!!!!!!!!!!
Need to study more but I'm wondering if the same rules apply if you only have a garage and no hardstanding.....like I say I need to study more...................
