Surge Protection Device

What is the most suitable SPD Type for Street Lighting?

Parents
  • Glibly, one built into the street light electronics.  A traditional street light does not need an SPD, as there is nothing to damage that is not more robust than an SPD.
electronic ballasts etc for street lighting application should be requested and tested to survive with full amplitude spikes and surges as part of the design, and ideally not need additional protection. If they do the person to ask is the makers.
