40A single phase double pole switch fuse.

Have been trying to find a metalclad 40A , or up to 40A switch fused isolator which employs a HRC type fuse element to  feed a 6.00mm SWA submain. Had no luck on the web other than something from CEF which I am guessing is a proteus branded item which from past experience I would like to avoid if possible.

All I have found from the usual suspects is a range of switch gear which starts at a 63A rating and rises to 100A max. The problem is that these employ a HRC fuse with a different physical size/form factor in which no 40A rated fuse is available.

Any leads to a potential vendor or brand would be welcome.

  • May or may not be what you want but fuses from about 5A to  50A are made in size 51mm long *14mm diameter - aka "14 by 51" with 80kA rupture. PSSC There are DIN rail holders for such fuses by Lewden, Schneider and others that can perhaps be put in a box with a suitable DP switch.

(the fatter fuses are not made in such a range of lower amperages)
