board mounting

I have a 3ph board to mount onto a unistrut frame. My idea is to go straight onto unistrut but colleague thinks it should go on a paxolin back board fixed to the unistrut frame.

any requirements to think about or earthing issues or is it just a case of preference

    Definitely personal preference. 

    I've done both. I'd prefer to mount directly onto the unistrut framework, but then the trunking etc is also a little more difficult to mount, but not really.
