Filter coupler

Could someone tell me what this is beside the isolator on this rather grand consumer unit? Serves a 2 bedroom apartment in Portugal.

  • Indeed - in this role, single phase, basically a low pass filter or line impedance stabilisation network (LISN) , Sort of thing that smooths out fast edged spikes by having a low impedance at 50Hz but rising with frequency, Inside I expect to see a series inductor between power in and out, and a parallel capacitive shunt between the output and neutral, and some capacitive coupling out the side to allow phases to be cross linked at HF on the load side.

I wonder how much they charge for it. The ones we have on our EMC /EMP chambers are eye wateringly expensive, but these look more commercial grade. Data sheet is a bit thin on actual impedance values and maximum levels etc.
