ISCO

Over here in NI we often refer to the connector blocks for tails as ISCOs or perhaps ESCOs. I think Henley blocks are perhaps how they are referred to on the mainland. I used to know  the words of the acronym but I cannot recall and  a web search didnt help. Any ideas?

  • Here in southern England we only see ISCO on prewar cut outs and they are a dissappearing breed.

    - I assumed it is  a long defunct maker's name.

WT Henley has suffered many mergers but the name refuses to die out..

oddly that article refers to them making ISCOs, so it may have meant incoming service cut-out or similar for them - not  a use I am familiar with
