The new COP for EVSE.

Hi all.

is anybody else of the opinion that the new COP has put to bed the (Charging point manufacturers) arguments against the requirement for an RCD externally to their ''internal RCDs''  ?

I feel the clincher is Section 2, para. 2.4.4.

  • If the RCD is at the start of the cable run from the CU/DB to the EVSE then it gives the cable and the EVSE RCD protection
