Any particular reason why a 230V damper actuator is specified over the 24VDC version and the opposite?
230 volts AC means reliance on mains electricity or on a standby generator or UPS none of which have a great record of reliability.
24 volts DC is easy to supply from a battery, a common application is to vent smoke in case of fire, making reliability crucial.
