Meter query

Simple little set up of a pay as you go meter. Plenty of money on account. However, the supply is often switched off. Always at times of fairly high load. That is a C63 MCB and 300mA S-type RCD that supplies DBs in a dwelling and outbuildings. The load can sometimes reach +60A. That seems to be when the supply is interrupted by the meter. A reset is then required to be punched in (I think on the meter rather than the pay as you go key pad). Are there usage limits built into these meters apart from exceeding money limits?

  • Hi Lyle, have you looked up the specs for the equipment in your picture?

    edit to add:

the pic is fuzzy but is this it?

  • Aah, thank you WBX, I should have done that. I note that there is a load limiting option so that may well be the cause of the supply interruption.

  • Hi Lyle, the link only mentions load limiting with regards the emergency credit function.
