IP ratings of Distribution Boards

Hi,

I am currently working on a project in Denmark where we feed horticultural lighting in a green house.

All our DBs are placed in corridors (indoor) , not in the growing area. So the DB we used were IP31 considering the location.

But one of the team members from Client side has mentioned "By law it must be IP44 in Denmark."

I wonder if there is any such specific Law in Denmark as I couldnt find any in BS or EU standards.

Appreciate if anyone who has experience in Denmark projects can help me in this regard.

Thanks in Advance.

  • I do not think that you will find much expertise in Danish law here. However, whenever somebody says something like, "By law it must be IP44 in Denmark.", I usually ask them to give me the reference to the law.

In some ways, we do that all the time in here.
