I think you are allowed to put tabs in your up to date copy of BS7671 for the sections.  Other things to take into the exam

Pen, Pencil, calculator, bottle of water with a lid and maybe some scrap paper for diagrams or working out

Under the "additional documents" tab, you can download the latest PDF document 'permitted reference materials'. In the current latest one, Table 2B, (page 11), it says only a copy of BS 7671 is permitted for reference in the 2382 exam - this would have to be a paper copy at present (see page 2).
