Belated Seasons greetings and all the best for the new year

Usually a few days before this time, someone else posts a thread wishing every one seasons greetings and all the best for the new year, and a few days later I spot it and tack on  my one liner.

As far as I can see that has not happened this year, and I'm sure its in the wrong category but hey ho..

In any case apologies for the delay, but here is hoping that you had a

Very Good Christmas , and best wishes for 2025 to come.

More generally will add that I enjoy this forum as an interesting place, but that is only because it is frequented by interesting people, who may or may not always agree on all details but are happy to kick a topic about if it is that sort of query, or just answer if it is a question with a simple (for the person answering, if not for the OP ! ) answer. At the same time a lot of odd gaps in the collective knowledge are filled in mostly painlessly..

All the best and let's keep up the good work...

A big thank-you to everyone who posts here - this place is a fount of knowledge and often the reasons behind a question can be as enlightening as the final answers!

  • Happy, prosperous and safe New Year to all.

  • I cannot help feeling that 1 Jan is simply an arbitrary date and I am far too grumpy to celebrate these days. (40 years ago, it was as good an excuse for a party as any. Laughing )

However, I send my best wishes and thanks to all the contributors here in this learned community.

  • Merry Christmas and Happy New year to you all x
