A while ago a customers tenant phoned to say he had received a shock while switching the RCBO on.

I thought it was more of a twitch from stretching to reach the box, but he was spot on !

The test button had departed the unit leaving a wire prong at mains potential whether on or off.

Came across another today. Has anyone else experienced this ? 

Seems to be a unique problem to the brand in question.

    seems like  a fairly serious design weakness !! Up there with the chair that looks great except for the spring that penetrates the draylon joke that I think was a 2 Ronnies sketch

    Joking aside take pics and contact the makers - exposing live parts is a product recall level of failure if it is a recurring fault.
