What two core cable should be used for the DC wiring on a canal boat? As far as I can see, the only requirement in the IET On-Board Guide is that it should, as a minimum, comply with IEC 60332-1. I cannot seem to find a two core flex with red and black cores that complies with IEC 60332-1.

    Two core flex with red and black cores may not be the "official" standard, but it is widely used. Available from fleabay, or from dealers in vehicle electrical equipment.
