Can someone tell me if the following statement from a lift manufacturer is correct, which our discussions have been specific to the lift shaft?
'BS7671 in its scope specifically exempts lifts, escalators / and moving walks from its requirements due to these being covered by EN 81 and EN 115 series of designated standards and therefore are compliant'.
