Old MCCBs & MCACBs Data

It is quite a long shot - what else is written on them - any BS number or makers part nos  or roman numerals ? 

Or a photo of one if possible close up - some of them had writing on the sides of the breakers rather than the show face.

I don't have any BS numbers or roman numerals, however I maybe able to obtain if you think you may have any info on them?

Well long before there were breakers type B,C and D there were types I and II, and indeed also called 1 and 2, (and for some maers also 3 and 4 )  for which the breaking data are similar to B and C type, but not quite, but the exact nos are known for those manufacturers that published such data.

Breakers to BS 3871 for example, are mostly pensioned off these days, but there is data out there that can be used to decide if the Zs is sensible for continued use. (link to article with figures and some pictures)

There are also others who appear occasionally on this form of longer memory than mine, who even without the numbers, may be able to advise so long as we have enough information to identify the parts in question with good confidence.
