Is this main earth adequate

Can anyone advise me on what type of earthing system this is.

My opinion is, is that it isn't.

,no ROD, no PME and not taken from the Armour of the incoming cable.

    I don't know what you would call it but looks like it's earthed well enough under that wing nut it's probably one of those things that's OK until someone starts playing with it then it will all fall apart. I had heard that green was a phase color at one point in time and the comments about the black earth wires has helped me date an old installation I once worked on  it had black earth wires  had no idea it was that ancient tho. Was a 3 phase set up
