AC Type RCD No PV or Car Charger C3 or C2

For a standard domestic Install, split board with 2x Type AC main switches.

No PV or Car Chargers should this be a C3 or C2?

    Type AC RCD will or could be blinded by DC (Direct Current) thus Type A RCD is the new minimum.  However BS7671 AMD 4 is not released for another month and it MAY state that TYPE A is NOT Enough.  But for now March 2026 Type AC RCD should be replaced by at least a type A.

    The main reason for the above is UK electrics in buildings are becoming more electronic thus using DC.  A lot of DC items leak current intentionally.
