Type of IET Certification required to be issued

I was wondering what the consensus was about the type of certification that should be issued when a cabin that was manufactured before amendment 2 in 2022 is delivered to a construction site and connected to the power source on the site for the first time?

I believe that we should issue Installation Certificate and that it should be compliant with the Regulations as they are in 2026, but the cabin suppliers state that the Regulations as they were when the cabin was manufactured apply, as there have been no alterations in the interim. therefore what certification should be issued?

For the connection on-site, unless by existing plug and socket-outlet arrangement, an EIC will be needed for a new circuit, or MWC for connection to an existing circuit.

For the mobile/portable building, I agree with  .

There is relevant industry training to support this approach, and the MPBA (Mobile & Portable Building Association) actually have a joint scheme for operatives in conjunction with ECA.
