10 September 2025 – 12.30pm BST.  A joint webinar from the IoP and the IET Innovation Management Technical Network.

This webinar explores how start-ups can accelerate their progress, featuring an award-winning venture whose experience and potential speak volumes.  We’ll examine why start-ups are an exciting career choice, how to enhance their growth trajectories, and how to shorten their path to commercialisation. We’ll also demonstrate how the value created within start-ups can be preserved and how the risks surrounding them can be significantly reduced.

8 October 2025 - 9.30am – 5.15pm - London.

This conference will focus on core stages of an innovation journey – from an idea through to scale-up.  Key decision points will be covered, highlighting problems and challenges along the way, sharing ideas, tools and techniques that can be used to resolve and/or remove challenges to reach a successful conclusion.

Are you passionate about innovation and looking to make a meaningful impact? The IET Innovation Management Technical Network Executive Committee is seeking dedicated volunteers with skills and expertise in all areas of innovation management to support our mission.

We welcome individuals with a diverse range of skills, such as those with expertise in:

• Sectors: Health, Supply chains, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)
• Emerging Technologies, Quantum technologies
• Government Collaboration
• Funding: Venture Capital (VC) funding, Angel funding

We are also interested in individuals with experience in social media and project administration support.  This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the innovation ecosystem, engage with industry leaders, and drive the advancement of technology and ideas.
