We’re excited to introduce a brand-new and revamped help section: Using EngX.
Whether you’re just joining us or you’ve been part of the community for a while, this space is designed to help you feel confident and informed about how to participate and get involved in our online community of engineers. Here you’ll find a growing collection of guidance notes covering everything from how to post and reply, to tips on navigating discussions, reporting content, and understanding our community etiquette as well as a forum to ask your questions on using the community (log in required). You'll also see our new ideas area for you to suggest improvements as well as a Bugs and Issues log (coming soon) where you can report any issues you're experiencing when using the community.
Our goal is simple: to make EngX easy to use, welcoming to all, and a place where your contributions feel valued. We know that sometimes it’s not obvious how things work, and we want to change that.
So if you’ve ever wondered:
- Where should I post my question?
- How do I follow a topic or reply to someone?
- What’s okay to share here—and what’s not?
…you’ll find answers in Using EngX.
We’ll be updating this section regularly, so feel free to explore, bookmark it, and let us know if there’s something you’d like us to cover.
Thanks for being part of IET EngX, we’re glad you’re here.
