The 6th conference on 5G was the TPN’s most successful yet with over 150 delegates gathering at Savoy Place in London to hear about the latest developments in the field of 5G

 Including the topics discussed were: real world applications, deployment and security.

In response to feedback from the previous event and the desire to find out more about the security concerns surrounding 5G, Philip Christian from BT spoke about how security had changed across the ‘generations’ of connectivity

Prof. Dimitra Simeonidou, University of Bristol discussed how 5G has been used in Bristol, home to one of the UK’s first 5G test beds, including a Layered Realities Showcase in Millennium Square and Smart tourism in the Roman Baths
