As part of our initiatives to further promote the profession and IET at large, we are delighted to announce that the Malaysia Network Committee would be hosting the 6th Prestige Lecture and Annual Dinner 2015. The 6th Prestige Lecture will be delivered by Dato’ Ir. Dr. Ali Askar Bin Sher Mohamad, Chief Operating Officer of Sustainable Energy Development Authority of Malaysia (SEDA Malaysia), on “Renewable Energy Development – A Malaysia Perspective”. This lecture will briefly cover worldwide developments in RE, especially recent achievements and setbacks, and then talk about development of RE in Malaysia, the historical progress, present challenges and the way forward.
