To create awareness about the prospects of Smart Cities, and as a platform to exchange ideas and thoughts in international prospects.  Emphasizing the role of universities in the region in promoting Smart Cities, Consultancies, Projects, Smarter Ideas, Consultancies and Continuity in the form of publications and creating innovative solutions.

  • The Smart City Symposium is a Super initiative by the IET and UoB to create awareness of issues, challenges and opportunities both in theory and practice. With my participation in the previous symposium, I have high hopes and confirm participation in the upcoming 6th Smart Cities Symposium. Wish Prof Ebrahim Mattar and the organising team a Grand Success in advance.

  • Would be interesting to understand more about the proposed designs and associated complexity of the utility supplies for Smart Cities. Managing electrical safety in line with EICR inspection and testing regimes and remedials on this scale will require a huge focus and resource to manage.
