IET NorCal had a great tour of the National Ignition Facility (NIF) on Friday. About 10 IET members and non-members toured the NIF with our expert guides who covered everything from the precision of the laser to the continuous pour techniques used to make the glass to the high speed X-ray diagnostics that peer in to the heart of the imploding capsule!
