About the Aerospace Partnership
Along with the IMechE and the RAeS, the IET Aerospace network form the 'Aerospace Partnership'. Find out about the vision, mission and objectives.
Vision
To co-ordinate and enhance the activities of the Institutions serving the aerospace community.
Mission
To enable a discussion on the key issues in the aerospace industry and where appropriate to each individual Institution seek synergies on the topics of:
· Energy
· Environment
· Education
· Transport
· Economics
· Legislation
And also to,
· help raise the profile of aerospace with government, the wider industry, the public schools and universities.
· provide and publicise a common source of information for the community.
· co-ordinate the respective Institutions programme of events and activity and support both joint and non-joint ventures.
· maximise the effectiveness of particular resources, strengths and skills of the member institutions.
Objectives
· to facilitate discussion between the three Institutions on the above key issues to identify synergies for closer ways of
working.
· to identify, co-ordinate and publicise the resources and services of individual Institutions that are of common interest to the
community.
· by maintaining the partnership website, provide an online portal to the respective institutions products and services
including a calendar of events.
· to maintain regular communication between Institution members and staff to ensure good co-ordination.
