Schufin, IET Brunei Chairman’s did an opening speech introducing key guests and the IET and its great activities such as Faraday Challenge.

Minister of Development is very supportive of the IET, the day of the dinner happened to be his birthday and we sang a happy birthday song for him.
In his speech “I dare say that IET Brunei Local Network is here to stay…. And the Ministry of Development looks forward to support all its initiatives in the near and far future. Well done to the IET Brunei Committee, sponsors…in organizing the event.”
I met a very inspiring lady: YB (Noble title = The Honorable) she is the current President of Brunei (PUJA) Institution of Surveyors, Engineering and Architect, herself an Architect, a Legislative Council member and a mother of five children. She is seen as a young successful role modal for the younger generation. An interesting conversation we had during the night is we found that her son participated at the IET Faraday Challenge Brunei Heat when reading the Brunei Network 20th Anniversary magazine.
Another highlight of the event or dinner is Professor Liyanage C De Silva who gave a very interesting talk about the topic: Internet of Trees.
