The European Space Agency (Esa) have announced Wednesday, 12 November 2014 as the date for the historic comet landing attempt.  The Rosetta Satellite which is currently orbiting Comet 67P will drop a robot from a height of 20km.  All being well, the lander will free-fall and make contact with the comet's surface at approximately 15.35 GMT.
