Glasgow's Commonwealth Arena, incorporating the Indoor Sports Arena & Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, is the only major new sports facility planned to be used as part of the 2014 Commonwealth Games. The complex is also designed for its legacy use as both a centre for sporting excellence, providing a local, regional and national training centre and competition venue, and as a community sports facility.
