Building on the success of the Regional Event held in Edinburgh in January, there are three events being held on 29th November at Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh, on 2nd December at the Glasgow Science Centre and on 10th December at Aberdeen’s Satrosphere.
Ten teams of young people will be competing at each of these events to see which team goes forward to the National Final, with the possibility of going on to the World Final in America at which in 2013 and this year, a team from Britain was the overall winner.
The 30 teams competing in Scotland have been very encouraged by being able to have dedicated coaches and assistant engineer mentors providing support as they hone their skills ready to meet the challenges on the day.
Laura Meikle of Lambda Jam, the FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL) organiser in Scotland is now looking for volunteers including potential judges for the three forthcoming events.
