It’s that time of year again – EUCAP17!

If you’re not sure what EUCAP is, it stands for the European Conference of Antennas and Propagation. It is the main conference in Europe for antennas and propagation, organised by EurAAP. The first EUCAP took place in 2006 in Nice, France.

The conference will be held in beautiful Paris this year. The full programme and more details about the conference can be found here; there is still time to register if you haven’t already.

You may notice that the IET Antennas and Propagation TPN will be hosting a convened session on Tuesday morning: CS29 New Antenna Systems Involving Application of Metamaterials and Metasurfaces (IET). The session will be chaired by Hisamatsu Nakano and the TPN’s own chair, Rob Lewis – come along and join us for what’s sure to be an interesting and informative session.

This year’s conference is a bit special for the IET and the A&P TPN as it will officially kick off the countdown to EUCAP18 – which will be organised by the IET Events team and held in London. The IET team will be out in force, with the Communities, Publishing and Events team all in attendance so make sure you come find us in booths B1/B2/E5!

Whilst we gear up, take a look back at Rob’s blog from last year’s event in Davos and the videos from the event.

Are you going to EUCAP? Let me know in the comments – I’d love to hear what you’re most looking forward to (it’s okay to admit it if it’s the authentic French croissants!!)
