2 minute read time.
A fortnight ago we met Winnie, Community Manager for our Region. This week I'd like to introduce Peta Blight, a former IET YP Chairperson, Leadership Programme mentor, current IET Senior Committee Treasurer and a member of more committees than I care to recall. Always on the go, almost always right, she is an inspirational member of the IET that has represented us at conferences around the world, most recently at the New Zealand Student Recruitment and Retention Committee summit.

Peta is a Mechanical Engineer who accidentally joined the IET YP. Peta showed up to her first meeting as moral support and walked out as the secretary. since then she's been on the up and up becoming one of the most respect of the YP. Let's get to know Peta.

I came along to a YP meeting as moral support; ended up as the secretary of the YP.

Dogs or cats (or Ducks? Naked mole rats?)?
Dogs as they are actually likeable
I get the feeling that the IET is full of dog people.

I don't care as long as there is some.

Thank you, Peta. I hope you are all enjoying these as much as I am. If you are please leave a like on the page. Make sure to check us out again next week for our next committee member!
