IET Bowling Tournament 2018 - IET Malaysia President Cup

The Bowling Tournament is organized to create a platform of social event for the IET members and non-IET members. This is also created to make a networking session between IET and other engineering institutions, also to spread the awareness of Institution of Engineering and Technology to the public through the Facebook Promotion. This Bowling event creates opportunity to enhance the engagement between IET members of Main Committee, YPS and On Campuses.

The event had participations from the Student On-Campus, Main Committee and external institutions that joined us. The external institutions received our Event Promotional Advertising through the emails and Facebook. The participation of the day including On-Campus from Universiti Tenaga Nasional, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, USCI University, IET Main Committee, IET Young Professionals Committee and from external institutions including staff from General Electric (GE Malaysia), Universiti Teknologi MARA Puncak Alam and Universiti Teknologi MARA Shah Alam.


The event started with the introduction and thank you note from IET YPS to the participants and also to have the participants introduce each other. Total of 9 teams are joining the Bowling Tournament of total 36 people. Each team consists of 4 persons. The tournament has total of 3 games conducted, whereby, each game score is recorded for the Highest Score for Team and Individual. The Champion Team and the Champion Individual both received Trophies as rewards.

Also, throughout the event, Pizzas and drinks are served to the participants, encouraging leisure networking sessions between the participants of IET and Non-IET members.
