At the STEE Council meeting 11 November 1886 it was resolved that Mr D J McGauran, Member, having indicated his willingness to accept such office be and is hereby appointed Local Honorary Secretary & Treasurer of the Society in Western Australia. 

Diverse Cultural Backgrounds of the team:

The Committee members come from a diverse cultural background and is such a great team!  There are about 16 - 20 committee members.  They have done excellent events such as Bike Charger Event at different universities, Leadership programme, How to win a job, Engineering Challenge.  3 On Campus groups established:  UWA, ECU and Curtin. They plan to set up more On Campus groups at other universities.
