The IET Railway Network invited young railway professionals from across the industry to hone their writing and presentation skills by participating in the 2013 Best Paper competition.

The 2013 theme was 'What is the value of innovation?'



The winners of the competition were Jay Shen and Ali Najimi, Atkins with their paper on

'Innovation in the UK Rail Industry - Barriers and their Impact on Innovation Performance.
