In honor of International Women's Day 2014, the IET Women's Network would like to invite you to join our crusade to promote women in Science,engineering,technology and maths (STEM).



Just e-mail in a picture of yourself, holding a plaque that states: 

• 
  What field of STEM are you in?;

• 
  What you do; (something interesting and enticing - example I write code for... or I work on...)

• 
  Why you became an engineer?;

• 
  The funniest thing that they have been told / asked about being a female engineer i.e - funny assumptions or reactions that you get when telling people you are in fact, an engineer;

• 
  An inspirational message;

• 
  Make it as colourful and as fun as you wish - get creative and draw images to accompany your slide;

Your message can be a combination of all of the above or a selection of one or two.

The aim here is to get people excited about what they do as well as encouraging the next generation.
