Founding members discuss the creation of the new on campus group and how it will help the university’s engineering students through lectures, workshops and networking opportunities.



The Newcastle University IET on campus group was the idea of a PhD student Chris Spargo, after he chaired the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering’s Annual Research Conference, attended by the IET’s academic account manager, Victoria Critchlow and IET president Barry Brooks.
