The IET Robotics & Mechatronics TPN is appealing to members with an interest in these areas to join the Executive Team and represent the interests of this technical community.  



What is the role of the Network?

The role of the Network is to create an environment where its members can: 



learn about and extend their existing knowledge of the topic

network with like-minded individuals 

receive information via the web 

share knowledge and experience with others   



This is done through a number of physical and online activities.



What is expected of an Executive Team Member?

Executive Team members act as ambassadors for the Network and wider community. As part of a dynamic and focused group, the team regularly participate in various activities such as: 



Engaging in physical and virtual Executive Team meetings 

Development of the Network's annual strategy  

Using own personal and professional network of contacts, arrange one or more activity to engage with engineering and technology professionals in the fields of Robotics & Mechatronics

Sourcing and delivering new content for the Robotics & Mechatronics My Community area



We welcome applications from non UK members to join our Executive Team. All international volunteers are invited to dial-in to participate in our Executive Team meetings as we are unable to reimburse travel expenses to physically attend these meetings.  We can cover the travel costs of members in the UK for meeting attendance.
