This presentation will explore the successful promotion and delivery of high speed rail projects, and lessons learnt for the current HS2 project, which will be Europe's largest construction project.
The main speaker will be Colin Stewart, Global Rail Leader at Arup. Colin was Technical Director for the Channel Tunnel Rail Link (HS1), and has been involved in HS2 since its inception in 2009. In addition, he has been involved in numerous High Speed Rail projects worldwide over the past 20 years, including Holland, China, California, Texas, Malaysia, and Sweden.
