Looking to the skies with the Scottish Dark Sky Observatory.



A publically accessible observatory, located in an internationally reknowned dark skylocation.  The observatory is  open to the public, amateur astronomers, groups, clubs, schools and universities, with the aim of inspiring people of all ages and all backgrounds with the beauty and wonder of the universe.



The Scottish Dark Sky Observatory do a whole range of events that you may be interested in - have a look at their events calendar page.



The events are run by the resident astronomer and science educator David Warrington, as well as a group of local volunteers.  The observatory also hold special events, based around particular  astronomical events or featuring a talk by a visting guest speaker.
